Alma "Diane" Caldwell

Alma “Diane” Caldwell was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She left this world suddenly on August 1, 2021 at age 68. She was born on December 17, 1952 and after high school, Diane followed her husband, Jimmy L. Caldwell to Columbia, SC where they later married and together they had one child, Shannon. Diane loved spending time with her family and was always checking in with them and making sure they knew she loved them dearly. She was the kind of woman that would do anything for someone in need. She believed deeply in the Lord which sustained her through the tough times. She came from nothing and built a beautiful life with her husband that was filled with adventure and love. Diane is survived by her husband, Jimmy, daughter, Shannon (Stacey), sister, Peggy (Jimmy), and grandchildren, Josh and Jacob. She was also a step-grandparent to James and Joey. A funeral service is scheduled for 11 am on August 4, 2021 at Thompson Funeral Home at 4720 Augusta Road, Lexington, SC 29073 with visitation prior to the service at 10 am., with entombment to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.
