Robert "Bob" E. Schultz, Sr.
March 5th, 1926 - November 26th, 2021
Robert E. Schultz, Sr. "Bob," a resident of West Deptford, New Jersey, passed away on Friday, November 26, 2021. He was 95. Legacy Bob was born in Gloucester city on March 5, 1926. He served as a Sergeant in the United States Army during World War II and was a devoted member of the Thorofare Volunteer Fire Company for over 50 years. He volunteered every day at the senior center helping prepare meals for seniors until about two years ago. Bob was also a member of the Hobo Band and the Bonsal Blues Band. He loved John Sousa marches, he loved to travel, crossword puzzles, college football and going to the West Deptford High School Football Games (even after his children graduated). Family He is the beloved husband of 72 years to Ruth Schultz (Borden); sons, Robert Schultz, Jr. (Machelle) and the late John Schutlz, Sr. (Elizabeth); daughters Linda Bryan (Joseph, Sr.) Ellen Mourning and Paula Carter (John, Jr.); 25 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Farewell Tribute Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation at 9 AM on December 3rd at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 74 Church Street, West Deptford, NJ. A Funeral Ceremony will follow at 11AM. Graveside Services will be held at Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro, NJ. Share the memories … share love … ShareLife® at www.mcgfuneral.com.
