McGuinness Funeral Homes - Woodbury
Wayne R. Klotz
September 6th, 1961 - July 18th, 2022
Wayne R. Klotz, of West Deptford, NJ, passed away peacefully, Monday, July 18, 2022. Legacy Wayne was a fun-loving, and an all-around great guy. Everyone that knew him will remember his unique sense of humor and personality. He was a huge Star Trek fan and loved watching old Perry Mason re-runs on T.V. He was a diehard Phillies fan and loved spending time volunteering at home games as a Phillies Greeter. He recently retired as the building and maintenance caretaker for West Deptford Township, NJ, and in true Wayne fashion, he would say "Glad about that!". Wayne became very active in local politics in West Deptford over the years and ran for many positions. He worked for the Division of Elections in West Deptford and enjoyed "Working the polls". He also served on the Board of Directors for Shady Lane Nursing Home. Family Wayne is the beloved son of the late Clarence "Snook" & Jean Klotz; loving brother of Chuck Klotz, dear cousin of Ed Keller and lifelong friend of Dawn Lilly. He leaves behind many loving cousins and even more friends than you could imagine, especially around the neighborhood, most notably Matthew, the "Neighborhood Mayor". He will be truly missed by all who knew him. Farewell Tribute Wayne will be put to rest privately. McGuinness Funeral Homes - Woodbury
We have served the Woodbury community since 1951, when our founder, James A. McGuinness, opened our first funeral home. He knew the importance of families having a trustworthy, local funeral home to help them memorialize their lost loved ones and navigate grief. Our beautiful funeral home in Woodbury was originally built in the late 1700s, and has since been rebuilt to honor its original charm and comfortable, warm feel. Once you walk through our doors, you become family....
