L. Dean Raines, 75, of Lexington, SC went to be with his Lord and Savior on July 21, 2022 surrounded by his devoted family. Dean was born on April 20, 1947 in Campobello, SC to his parents, Barney and Myrtle Raines. He married his adoring wife on August 19, 1966. He was a loving husband, brother, father, and grandfather. Mr. Raines spent countless hours tinkering in his shop of toys. He enjoyed fishing, barbecuing, and spending time with his beloved family and friends. He will be remembered by his family with thoughts of fuzzy bear hugs, oatmeal creme pies and Diet Cokes. Dean was loved by many and served as a father figure to more children than just the 3 he had. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Donna; son, Jason Raines (Tammy); daughter, Rebecca Farr (Darby); and three grandchildren, Haley Brock (PJ), Courtney Farr and Josh Raines.
