Peggy Jackson

LEXINGTON—At 7:40 P.M. on November 17, 2022, my precious mother, Peggy Jackson, went on to be with the Lord and her beloved husband Robert D. Jackson in heaven. Moma loved the Lord, and she studied her bible every day. She was prepared to be with her loved ones again, like her mother Annie Starnes and her daddy Etheridge Starnes. A funeral service will be held at 1 P.M. on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at Rock Family Worship Center, 5041 Platt Springs Road, Lexington, with the Rev. Johnny Brewington officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior in the church sanctuary. Burial will follow immediately after at the Clinton United Methodist Church Cemetery in Salley, SC. She is survived by four children, Diane King (Richard), Terry Robin Jackson (Caroline), Robert Randall Jackson (Tracy Todd), and Donna Sue Anderson; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. In addition to her loving husband, and parents, Moma was preceded in death by a son, Donald Hugh Jackson; brothers and sisters Zeki Starnes, Johnny Starnes, Imagene Church, Annare Roland, Betty Dykes, Elease Burke, Sara Cervanka, Regina Morn, Vivian Day, and Laveda Eunice. She was a loving grandmother, and nobody showed more love for the Lord and her family. If we choose the path you chose, we will be with you again. My mother had a rough year. She battled Covid, suffered a bad fall, broke her arm and recovered from surgery for that, which required therapy. By the way Moma—I'm sure they have plenty of strawberry shakes and chicken in Heaven. We miss you already, Moma. We love you, and we know you are alright because you’re with the Lord Jesus.
