Corine Lundy

Corine Lundy passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at 88 years old. Legacy Corine had a talent for doing hair. She was a wiz with a hot comb and hot curler. You had to have the hack to work the hot curlers back in the day as you had to heat them up on top of the stove. Corine was known for cooking big meals daily, especially when family visited. Corine’s mother, Viella passed away when Corine was very young and her father, Herbert Lundy later married Eleanore Jones with whom helped to raise Corine. Jim Fidler was a big part of her life for many, many years. Together they raised both Anthony L. Lundy (Cheryl) and Tracy Fidler. She is the loving grandmother of Aisha Fidler, Kyle Council, Cherisse Lundy and Toni Lundy. Dear sister of Thelma Brown, Christine Merrit, Lucy Belle Lundy. Corine is predeceased by several siblings, Dolores Spencer, Roy Lundy, Charles Lundy, Arthur Lundy, Herbert Lundy, Thomas Lundy, Irene Lundy and Annie Vincent. She leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Farewell Tribute Visitation from McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter Street, Woodbury, NJ 08090, on Sunday, July 23, 2023 from 11 AM to 1 PM. Funeral Service will begin at 1 PM.
