Robert Kenneth Nichols, Sr., 83, of Deptford, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 18, 2023. Legacy He was a loving and caring husband, father, and grandfather. He loved to be around his family especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed traveling, going on cruises with Judy and visiting different places like Alaska, Panama and going on day trips to Lancaster. He was avid Mets, Jets, and Nascar fan. His hobbies consisted of carpentry, woodworking, trains, jigsaw puzzles, and bowling. He loved to go to the beach and watch the waves come in and out. He was a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge, which he was the youngest Noble Grand. Treasurer of Almonesson United Methodist Church and Deptford Golden Age Club. He prepared taxes for over 15 years for the AARP Foundation. Family He is the beloved husband of 63 wonderful years to Judith Nichols (nee Kehrli). Devoted father of Robert, Jr. his wife Lorraine and John his wife Tamara. Treasured grandfather of Jordan, Collin, Tucker, and Hayden. Son of the late Clara and Arthur Nichols. He will be greatly missed by family and friends. Farewell Tribute Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Monday, August 28 from 10:00AM to 12:00PM in the McGuinness Funeral Home- (Washington Twp Location) 573 Egg Harbor Road, Sewell, NJ 08080. Funeral Service at 12:00PM. Interment will be private by the request of the family.
