Thomas P. Gallagher of Woodbury, NJ, passed away on April 2nd, 2024 at the age of 70. Family Born to the late John and Kitty Sue (nee Mills) Gallagher on September 3rd, 1953. Beloved brother of Hubert and brother-in-law of Vikki Gallagher - Tom was predeceased by his other siblings Michael and Dianne. He was the Uncle of Frances, Dianna, Michael, Kelsey, and Ava. Legacy Tom lived his life in Woodbury, NJ. He attended Woodbury High School and Gloucester County College. Throughout his life, he had several jobs which included working with a local surveying company, the Gloucester County Times Newspaper, and as a Security Guard at the Gloucester County Courthouse. He enjoyed discussing current events, the weather and especially enjoyed catching up with neighbors. In his early years, Tom enjoyed many camping trips with his family and fishing in Avalon, NJ. Tom also enjoyed spending time at the family's beach house in Barnegat Light, NJ. Tom enjoyed animals, having had a few cats as pets. He was quick to take notes in his small notebook which was usually kept in his front pocket. Tom was an avid reader of several newspapers and enjoyed reading comparative pieces on new products in consumer reports magazine. He enjoyed getting together with family for holidays, especially swimming in Bill and Aggie DeWitt’s pool, fireworks on the Fourth of July, and listening to his family play music. Tribute Relatives and friends are invited to attend Tom's visitation on Wednesday, April 10th, 2024 from 11am-12pm at McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter Street, Woodbury NJ 08096, followed by Eulogies at 12pm.
