Barbara Anne Owens of Cayce entered eternal rest on January 2, 2024. She was born in Alexandria, VA on December 8, 1932 to the late Robert and Dorothy Clarke. She was the eldest of 6 children - 3 sisters and 2 brothers. Barbara attended George Washington High School where she met the love of her life Edward Owens. They were happily married for 65 years before his passing in 2018. Together they had three children, Steven Owens (Mickey), Sheridan Owens Perry (David) and predeceased Sandra Leigh. Granny O cherished her 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Services for Barbara will be held Monday at 12 noon, January 8, 2024 at All Saints Episcopal Church, 1001 12th Street, Cayce, SC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the noon service in the parish hall. Following the service a private burial will be held with the family. In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution in memory of Barbara to All Saints Episcopal Church, Cayce. The family extends heartfelt thanks to the staff of Lexington Community Hospice House for their loving care.
