Angela June Stabler Baker, 49, of Hopkins, SC, passed away of heart failure at Lexington Medical Center on Friday, February 23, 2024. She was born in Columbia in 1974 to Richard and Deborah Stabler, and met her future husband in the fourth grade at Springdale Elementary School. Angela attended Airport High School and Lexington High School before studying law at George Mason University. Angela passed the Virginia and South Carolina bars and practiced law in both states. Angela is survived by her son, Harrison Wofford; parents, Richard and Deborah Stabler; brother, Ben Stabler; and her husband, Cornelius J. Baker III. Angela’s memorial is scheduled for Friday, March 8, 2024 at 3:00 PM at Platt Springs United Methodist Church, 3215 Platt Springs Road, West Columbia, SC 29170. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to Pawmetto Lifeline at https://pawmettolifeline.org/get-involved/donate/ or Platt Springs United Methodist Church at https://www.psumc.org/.
