Beverly "Bev" Jean Steiner

Beverly Jean Steiner, 79, passed away on August 21, 2022 at Hilton Head Hospital in South Carolina with family by her side. Bev was born on December 7, 1942 in St. Louis, MO. She was the daughter of Emmett J. and Dolora H. Toal. Bev was raised in St. Louis, MO. She attended St. Thomas of Aquinas High School and was a member of the first graduating class. Bev was a dedicated ICU nurse and case manager at SSM St. Mary’s Medical Center in Richmond Heights, MO for 25 years. Bev loved to cook, tend her orchids and violets, paint, laugh, play cards and dominoes with her family and friends. She was an avid reader. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Joseph H. Steiner; daughter Beth (Bill) Kullmann; son Scott (Tracy) Steiner; granddaughters, Paige (Alejandro), Sydney, Kaitlin and Anna; brother Jerry (Kathy) Toal; brothers-in-law John (Juanita) Steiner, Jim (Judy) Steiner, many cousins, nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, consider a donation to your favorite charity. Visitation will be held at The Island Funeral Home on September 8th from 2:00-4:00 pm. A memorial service will be held in St. Louis on November 6, 2022 from 1-3 pm at Old Hickory Golf Course.
