Brenda T. Lieberman

Brenda Tipton Lieberman, 82, of Hilton Head Island, SC, went to be with her Lord on April 15, 2023. Brenda was born in Dalton, GA, on June 16, 1940, and went on to graduate from Dalton High School and the University of Georgia. Brenda, who was rooted and grounded in Christ’s love, served her Lord, her church, her family and her community. A longtime resident of Hilton Head Island, Brenda served on the Vestry of St. Luke’s Church and was a leader and volunteer with Stephen Ministries. Brenda also loved studying and teaching God’s word in Community Bible Study, including the Student Ministries and After School Kids programs on the island. She especially enjoyed volunteering and serving on the board at the Church Mouse Thrift Shop benefiting local ministries. Brenda is survived by her loving husband of over 40 years, Richard Lieberman, along with her children and stepchildren: Catherine Loflin Hogewood (Mark), Charlotte Lieberman Rayburn (Eric), Steve Lieberman, David Lieberman, and Rick Lieberman (Esther), along with her five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved son, William Pierce Loflin, III. A Memorial Service celebrating Brenda’s life will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at St. Luke’s Anglican Church at 50 Pope Avenue.
