Barbara Ann Morris, age 77 of Summerville, SC passed away Thursday, April 14,2022. Barbara was retired from the Berkeley County School System and spent her days enjoying spending time with her dog Missy and cat Smokey. She was extremely talented and loved arts and crafts. Through the years she did oil paintings, stained glass, knitting, and jewelry making. Besides her husband and daughters, her greatest loves were her grandchildren. Barbara was born April 7, 1945 in Albany, GA to Harold and Lavonia Stewart. Barbara is survived by her daughters Shalon Hollis and Robert Hollis of Ladson, Paige Morris and Allen McGrew of Summerville. Grandchildren Charles Brandon Paez of James Island, Dallas Avery Gaskins and Gee Easterlin of Eutawville and Hunter Marion McGrew of Summerville. Sisters Linda Ellerd and Joe Ellerd, Debra Nichols and Lewis “Dub” Nichols of Amarillo, Texas. She is also survived by many nephews and nieces in Oklahoma and Texas. Barbara is preceded in death by her parents Harold and Lavonia Stewart and husband Charles Wayne Morris. Memorial service will be held Saturday, April 16, 2022 from 2 to 4 pm at Simplicity’s located at 281 Treeland Drive, Landson, SC 29456.
