John J. Gale

John J. Gale, 86, of Hilton Head Island, SC, passed away peacefully on October 4, 2023, at Memorial Hospital in Savannah, GA. Born in Camden, NJ on April 19, 1937, John spent most of his life in and around New Egypt, NJ before retiring to Hilton Head Island. John was a graduate of Trenton Catholic High School, a member of the Army National Guard and a manager at Jersey Central Power & Light Company prior to becoming a successful real estate investor and founder of Gale Realty in New Egypt. John's hobbies included boating, water and snow skiing, chess and golf. He made an impact on the lives of all who knew him. He will be forever missed. Son of the late John A. and Elizabeth M. Sterbach Gale, and predeceased by his sister, Dorothy Glowzenski, John is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Patricia Ann Wilson Gale; two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Sandra Gale of Columbus, NJ, and Gregg and Cynthia Gale of Soddy Daisy, TN; two grandchildren, Casey Gale of Mount Laurel, NJ, and Gabriel Gale of Monroe, MI; a sister, June Dancer of Hilton Head Island; a sister-in-law, Patricia Wilson of Hardeeville, SC; a niece and several nephews. A graveside funeral service and burial will be held at Six Oaks Cemetery on Hilton Head Island on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at 10:00 am.
