Sandra Stewart Lester

Sandra “Sandy” Stewart Lester was born July 28th, 1955. She passed peacefully at her home on May 28th in Goose Creek, SC, surrounded by family. She was preceded in death by her parents, James & Marian (Hatcher) Stewart, her brother, Melvin “Bo” Stewart, and her brother-in-law Ed Hauck. She is survived by her husband Rick Lester, son MacKenzie Lester(Anna Coval), brother Jim (Theresa)Stewart, sisters Jean Hart and Marge Hauck. Sandy was a lover of reading and spent the majority of her free time with a book or Kindle in her hand. She also enjoyed music, card games, contributing to charities, and spending time with friends. She graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Business from Spring Arbor College. She worked for a number of years in financial institutions around Jackson, MI, where she was known for her dedication to her job. A Celebration of Life for Sandy will be held in her hometown of Jackson at First Congregational Church on July 16th, 1pm. 120 N Jackson St, Jackson, MI 49201 Since Sandy was such a lover of books, In lieu of flowers, the family would ask you consider donating to your local library.
