David James Knight

It is with heavy hearts that the family of David James Knight, 47, announce his passing on August 15, 2020. David was born to Terry Alexander and Lorraine Knight on January 20, 1973 in Charlotte, North Carolina. David is survived by his parents Terry Alexander (Charlene) and Lorraine Knight (preceded in death by Jerry Knight). David also leaves behind his three children Caitlin Knight (Rickey Jones), Haylee Knight (Jimmy Butler) and Hunter Knight (Victoria Singletary). David leaves behind one brother, Bobby Knight (Alison), and is preceded in death by 3 brothers, Heath Guill, Daryl Guill and Dewayne Guill. David was a beloved grandfather to five wonderful boys, Kourtlin Bulter, Reagan Jones, Teagan Jones, Wes Butler and Adler Knight. David also leaves behind 3 nephews, Dalton, Chance and Corbin. David was an avid dog lover, especially had a love for pit bulls. David was an Owner/Operator of DK Trucking for many years and then later went to drive for Piggly Wiggly. David was a fun, outgoing and loving person that will always be remembered. Services will be held at Moncks Corner Pentecostal Holiness Church in Moncks Corner, South Carolina on Saturday, August 29, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. Arrangements are being handled by Simplicity Lowcountry Cremation and Burial Services Summerville.
