David Boyd Templeton

David Boyd Templeton, 82, of Summerville, widower of Mildred West Templeton died Saturday, June 19, 2021 at Low Country Community Hospice House of Summerville. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at 9:30am at Simplicity Lowcountry Burial Services, 281 Treeland Drive, Ladson SC. Burial will follow at Dorchester Memory Gardens, 11000 Dorchester Road, Summerville. Mr. Templeton was born April 17, 1939 in Laurens, South Carolina; the youngest of 5 brothers of Gary and Mary Templeton of Laurens, SC. He attended schools in Laurens, South Carolina and also served for 28 years in the United States Air Force. Survivors are a daughter, Sharon Karkowski of Summerville; sons, David Carroll Templeton and his wife Joan of Ladson, James Barry Templeton both of Ladson, and Mark Anthony Templeton and his wife Chantelle of Summerville; eight grandchildren, Tiffany Hudson, Alan Templeton, Michael Karkowski, Jennifer Duncan, Cassy Ashley, Starr Templeton, Marc Templeton, and Brittany Manning; 7 great grandchildren, Madison Duncan, Lilly Duncan, Brodie Ashley, Ameilia Ashley, Stella Templeton, Charlie Ann Templeton, and Meadow Hudson, brother James and his wife Betty Templeton of Greenville, SC.
