Linda Byrd

Linda Jean Tipton Byrd Linda T. Byrd, 70, of 6008 Snead Lane, Summerville, SC, entered in to eternal rest on August 18th at her home after an extended illness. Memorial services will be held at 11am, on Saturday, August 28th at Faith Ridgeville, 1185 Cypress Campground Road, Ridgeville, SC with Pastor Brian Vanoy officiating. The family will receive friends from 10-11 am. Linda was born on September 24th,1950 in Denison, Texas, a daughter, of the late Bud Tipton and Betty Jo Johnson Tipton. She was a loving wife to her husband Frank for 37 years. They enjoyed fishing and working side by side with the family fencing business. They both lived their life to the fullest on the waters at Big Oak Campground in Cross, SC. Linda was a mother of five and MawMaw to everyone who loved her. She was known as a faithful servant to the Lord and wanted to be a light to others, especially her family. She was predeceased by her husband Frank Harold Byrd, daughter Donna Lynn Driggers, grandsons Nicholas Gage Byrd and Laken Knox Constantin, sister Sue Larson and brother Bobby Ray Tipton. She is survived by her son Mike Byrd of Holly Hill, daughters Karen Brown and Tammy (Rob) Constantin, all of Summerville, son Devin (Lisa) Byrd of Moncks Corner; 18 grandchildren, Heather Rutledge, Kristen Byrd, John Michael Byrd all of Holly Hill, Tori (Chris) Davidson of Arkansas, Ethan Byrd of St. Stephen, Dustin Watkins of Idaho, Starr Toler and Kerra Toler, both of Summerville, Cierra (Ryan) Weatherford of St. George, Baylie Hutson of Ridgeville, Gracelynn Constantin and Paislee Constantin, both of Summerville, Logan Byrd of Summerville, Caleb Byrd, Harley Waggoner, Kenly Waggoner, Kaylin Byrd all of Moncks Corner and Niko Byrd of Florida. Eleven great-grandchildren Braylen Johnson, Traityn Gary, Jayden Fogle, Bryson Byrd all of Holly Hill, Sabrina and Jayden Davidson, both of Arkansas, Annabelle Byrd of Goose Creek, Eliyanah Robinson of Summerville, Gunner Weatherford and Emersyn Weatherford both of St. George, and Lillie Byrd of Moncks Corner; sister Gail (Greg) Barrett and brother Billy Jo Baxter both of Texas
