Kevin Gregory II

Kevin Gregory II, 38, passed away on September 7, 2021, at Trident Medical Center. He was the husband of Laurie Howard Gregory. They shared 18 years of marriage together and were high school sweethearts. Born in Charleston, SC he was the son of Kevin Gregory and Tricia Cannon. He was currently employed with Hudson Nissan in North Charleston, SC where he worked as an automobile technician. Kevin coached a year of the youth basketball team at the Northwoods Recreation Center and when his daughter Alyssa was younger he coached her along with his daddy-in-law Vince Howard for the Hanahan Recreation Department. Kevin enjoyed playing basketball, golfing, and fishing. Kevin loved collecting sports cards with his sons. Kevin's favorite football team was the Minnesota Vikings. Kevin's favorite football player was his son Hayden Gregory who currently plays varsity for R.B. Stall High. Kevin was an amazing daddy to our 4 children. On his days off he enjoyed going to the latest movie at the local movie theater with his family. Kevin was an automobile technician since the age of 17. Kevin will be remembered for his dedication and love for his family. Kevin was a hard worker and loved working with his extended family at Hudson Nissan. His quirky jokes and love to help others will be truly missed. Kevin always tried to make everyone laugh. Kevin was truly the best husband and daddy anyone could ask for. We will love you always and forever Kevin! We will cherish the memories we have of Kevin and miss him daily. He is survived by his wife, Laurie Howard Gregory, his oldest son Kevin III, his daughter Alyssa, middle son Hayden and youngest son Jaimyson. He is also survived by his mother Tricia Cannon and father Kevin Gregory. He will be truly missed by his daddy-in-law Vince Howard and mother-in-law Norma Howard. Kevin leaves behind a brother Kyle Brooks, sister in law Sarah Brooks, brother Jesse Gregory, sister Patches Green and brother in law Elliot Green along with a brother in law Vince Howard JR, sister in law Christy Ayala, nephews Marco and Juan Ayala, niece Miss Katara Green and Jasmine Howard. Kevin leaves behind many aunts, cousins, and friends. He is predeceased by his grandmother Quin Gregory and Grandfather Dewey Gregory. The memorial service will be held on September 21, 2021, at 10 am. The visitation is from 10-11 am with the services following at 11 am at Simplicity: Lowcountry Cremation & Burial Services (281 Treeland Drive, Ladson, SC 29456).
