Carmen A. Millan, age 74, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 5, 2023 in Summerville, SC. She was born May 30, 1948, in New York City, to Miguelina Gonzalez and Juan Millan. Carmen truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; chatting with friends and family, eating good food, traveling, and spending time with her loved ones. Carmen loved going on adventures and making new memories and always stood out for her loving and witty personality. She is survived by her daughters; Tonya Sexton, Mary Brassard and Lee Groover. Sisters; Iris Millan, Alba Lovett and Sally. Brothers; Harry Millan and Johnny Millan. Grandchildren; Carlina Smith, Carsyn Sexton, Cara Sexton, and Ryan Boatwright, as well as many nieces, and nephews. Family, friends and others whose lives Carmen touched are invited to SIMPLICITY CHAPEL at 281 Treeland Drive, Ladson, SC from 2 to 4 p.m. on Thursday, January 19, 2023 for a celebration of life in which we can reminisce, grieve, and support each other as we say farewell.
