Spencer Craven February 2,1952 - May 14, 2024 Spencer Craven (72) passed away at his home on Tuesday May 14,2024 Family and friends are invited to attend his service Saturday May 25, 2024 at 1:00 at Knightsville Methodist Church 1505 Central Ave Summerville, SC 29483 Spencer was born in Charleston SC and loved the “ James Island life “ He is predeceased by his parents James & Estelle Craven and his sister Betty St Laurent Spencer was married to Christine ( Chris ) Craven . In addition he is survived by his children Jason ( Elizabeth) Smith and Tony ( Yanishka) Smith , his grandson Ben Smith, his brother Bruce ( Patricia ) Craven and two aunts Mae Saulisbury and Myrtle Smith. He has several nieces and nephews that he loved like his own children and many cousins that he was very close to. Spencer loved people and his generosity benefited many over the years. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Knightsville Methodist Church 1505 Central Avenue Summerville, SC 29483
