Lawrence “Larry” LaFleur, Jr, 71, of North Charleston, husband of Kathy LaFleur, passed away Monday, March 30, 2015 at his residence. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at 11:30 A.M. in the chapel of Northwoods Baptist Church, 2200 Greenridge Road, North Charleston, SC. Larry was born November 18, 1943 in Warwick, Rhode Island, a son of the late Lawrence LaFleur, Sr. and Vera Cotnoir. He retired from General Dynamics. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Larry LaFleur, Laurie Orlando (Joe), Jennifer Verrier (Norm), John Rutledge (Lynn), Amy Zaleznack (Dustin), eight grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. Arrangements are by Simplicity Lowcountry Cremation & Burial Services, North Charleston, SC.
