Charles William Dobson
Charles William Dobson was born in Charleston, SC on 20 October 1947 and went to be with our Lord on 21 May 2014. He was the son of Charles Lyle Dobson and Vera Dell Barnes Dobson Of Mt. Pleasant. He is survived by two sisters, Linda D. Johnson (Neal) of Cairo, Ga., Abbigail D. Ford of James Island, SC., one brother D. Allen Dobson (Jeannie) of Mt. Pleasant and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and his brother G. Legare Dobson. He was a disabled Army veteran and served as a volunteer for many years at the Ralph H. Johnson Veteran’s Hospital in Charleston, SC. He was a 1966 graduate of General William Moultrie High School, Mt. Pleasant, SC. The family would like to express a special thank you to the doctors and staff for his extended care at the Veteran’s Hospital. A memorial service will be planned at a later date. Arrangements are by Simplicity Lowcountry Cremation & Burial Services.
