Celia Sweeney

Celia Sweeney, 28, passed away Friday February 28, 2020. Beloved daughter to Victoria Sweeney and Shawn Sweeney, sister of Kelcie Lank and brother-in law Stephen Lank. In addition to her parents and sister she is survived by her Grandparents Marilyn Gill, Mary and Maurice Laliberte, Aunts and uncles—Kathy and Bob Mulhurn, Kirk and Deb Sweeney, Torin Sweeney and Jeffrey Laliberte ; her cousins-- Amy, Tori and Aram Mulhern & Luke, Cole, Olivia and Daniel Sweeney. She was the mother to two fur babies Kahleesi and Raider. She was born in Newport, RI but spent most of her school aged years through high school in Scituate, MA. While her life travels took her to Charleston, SC she was never far from the shore of the ocean she loved. Celia was best known for her larger than life personality, her kindness towards both animals & people and her loyalty to the people closest to her. Everyday spent with Celia had the likelihood of becoming a great adventure with often a story just as good to go along. Celia was a bright light in the storm that is life, calling family and friends away from the rocks and into safe harbor. She will be greatly missed by all those that loved her. A celebration of life will be held in the Boston area at a later date to be determined where Celia will be remembered for her zest for life, her love of the Patriots, 4 legged friends, walking her dog on the beach and snuggling with her kitty. In lieu of flowers a charity will be named at a later date.
