Robert W. Wyndham

Robert W. Wyndham Robert Wilson Wyndham, 84 of Charleston died on Friday surrounded by his family. Mr. Wyndham was born on September 15, 1928 in Charleston, South Carolina to Carrie Bell Wyndham. He was a lifelong resident of the Charleston area. He was married to the former Cecile Milligan on March 10, 1955 in Charleston. He proudly served our country in the United States Army. He worked for many years as an electrical lineman and was a member for 60 years of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. In addition to his wife he is survived by two sons, Robert “Bobby” (Ramona) Wyndham and Gordon Wyndham, one daughter, Linda W. Godsey, one sister, Selina W. Zilker, 5 grandchildren, Jason, Summer, Chad, Lindsey and Julia, and two great grandchildren, Ava and Chase. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Robbie Wyndham III , one sister, Georgia W. Warder and his son-in-law Ernie Godsey. Visitation for Mr. Wyndham will take place on Monday from 6:00PM-8:00PM at Simplicity Lowcountry Cremation & Burial Services (7475 Peppermill Parkway, North Charleston). Funeral Services Celebrating his life will take place on Tuesday at 11:00AM at Grace on the Ashley Baptist Church (2014 Bees Ferry Road, Charleston). Interment will follow at Live Oak Cemetery. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Grace on the Ashley Baptist Church. Arrangements are by Simplicity Lowcountry Cremation & Burial Services.
