Joseph Linn

Joseph Linn,Of Charleston, SC, died on Sunday, May 13, 2012. Joe was born in Glasgow, Scotland on May 13, 1941, the son of the late Francis and Josephine Linn. He worked in London, England then immigrated to Greenwich, CT in 1964. He then lived and worked (in the banking industry) in Greenwich, Stamford and Stratford, CT, Pittsburgh, PA and Charleston, SC. He is survived by his three children, Geraldine M. Linn of Royersford, PA, Mark I. Linn of Pittsburgh, PA and Paul J. Linn and his wife Michele of Charleston, SC; his former wife, Angela Linn Doughty; and his three grandchildren, Keegan James Linn, Maisie Sullivan Linn and Kenzie Selby Linn; along with brothers, James Linn and his wife Helen of Edinburgh, Scotland, Francis Linn and his wife Margaret of Stamford, CT and Bernard Linn of Falmouth, MA; his sister, Clare Macdonald of Glasgow, Scotland; a sister-in-law, Grace Linn; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Gerard Linn; his sister-in-law, Margaret Linn; his brother-in-law, Ian Macdonald; and his niece, Caroline Linn. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Connecticut. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that individuals make a donation to the chairity of their choice.
