William Lloyd “Bill” Golden, 76, of Goose Creek, SC, husband of Peggy Lefever Golden went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 20, 2017. He was born in Tulare, CA, the son of Ernest W. and Lucille L. (Hendershot) Golden. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and a retired Charleston County employee. Bill enjoyed tinkering and “fixing” things. He also enjoyed helping and doing for others. In addition to his wife, Peggy, he is survived by his daughter, Kimberly Joy Smith (Christopher) of Goose Creek, his son, William Joseph Golden (Stacy) of Texas, five grandchildren (Brandon, Kristi, Sarah, Savanna, and William), a sister Leona Hoover (Doug) of Oklahoma, and a brother Donald Golden of Oklahoma, as well as being missed by many extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and two daughters, Kristi and Katrina. A memorial service will be held at Simplicity’s Ladson location on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at 2 pm.
