Elizabeth “Libby” Goodwin Hendricks, 62, of Charleston, SC, passed away on June 2, 2017. A memorial service will be held at 2pm, Sunday, June 4th at James Island Presbyterian Church. Visitation will be held following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (www.bcrfcure.org). Libby worked as a teacher of the visually impaired for Anderson County public schools. Prior to that, she was a pre-school teacher at Fort Hill Presbyterian Church in Clemson, SC. She began her teaching career in Greenville County schools as a special education teacher. Libby is survived by husband, David Hendricks of Charleston, SC, son, Will Hendricks, of Portland, OR, mother, Betty Goodwin, and sister, Jeanie Goodwin, both of North Augusta, SC. Libby is preceded in death by sister Ann Goodwin, and father Charles Goodwin. Libby was born in Spartanburg, SC on September 5, 1954, daughter of Charles and Betty Goodwin.
