Mrs. Tracie Michelle Hyman Kolody, 48, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2017. Tracie was born on May 15, 1968, in McDowell County, NC, to Nancy Causby Shuford and John Bruce Hyman. Her love of the beach led her to relocate to Charleston, SC. She worked in the health care field and was most recently employed with Intrepid Home Health in North Charleston. Tracie is survived by her husband, Dennis John Kolody; son, Aaron Scott Michael Murray and fiancé Chelsea Ann Odom; daughter, Kaytie Olivia Jayne Murray; best friend Jerri Lee; her loving dog, Lola; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Aaryn Baylee Rose Murray. A celebration of her life will be held at Hillcrest Baptist Church (3595 Ashley Phosphate Rd, North Charleston, SC 29418) on Friday, January 27, with Reverend Dusty Bradshaw officiating. Services will begin at 2:00 and a visitation will will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Intrepid Home Health (2694 Lake Park Drive, North Charleston, SC 29406).
