Thomas “Sonny” Harrison Simmons Jr. 56 years old of Charleston SC passed way on March 5 2016. The Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on March 11 2016 at Simplicity Lowcountry Cremation & Funeral Services. Sonny was born in Charleston SC on January 28 1960. Sonny was the fourth child born to the late Thomas H and Sallie M Simmons. Sonny worked as a Tractor Trailer Owner Operator for more than 25 years. He enjoyed truck driving, listening to Jazz music, spending time with his grand children, family and friends. Sonny is survived by Beverley C. Simmons wife of 26 years, of Charleston SC, daughter Danielle M. Bethea-Brown (Jason) of Columbia, SC, sons Jerrel T.Simmons (Alecia) of Summerville, SC, Brandon T. Simmons of Charleston, SC, grandchildren Jaylin J. Simmons, Jayden C. Simmons, Delaney M. Brown, Jala N. Simmons, sisters Jennifer S. Rodgers ( John) of Charleston, SC,Sylvia Walters (Ronald), of Charleston, SC Gloria M. Simmons of Bordentown, NJ. aunts and uncles Evelina Capers, Christine, Freddie and Mary, Matthew and Kaylavon, James and Shirley and Vernell Middleton. Brother in laws Lucius Head of Longmont Co, Jimmy Everett (Delaine) of Dallas Ga, sister in laws Valentina Head of Reston, VA, Audrey A.
