Barbara G Sealock

Barbara G. (Brandt) Sealock of Ladson, S.C., age 79, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2015 at Trident Medical Center, after a brief illness. The daughter of the late Gustav R. Brandt and Grace D. (Youngdale) Brandt, Barbara was born on November 13, 1935 and grew up in Boston, MA. After raising her five children and a 22 year career as a Police and Fire Dispatcher in Windham, NH, she moved to South Carolina. Barbara was presently employed as a Security Officer for DAK Americas/Weiser. While residing in South Carolina, she continued her love of the ocean, caring for stray cats, gardening and continued her interest in NASCAR driver, Kevin Harvick. Barbara is survived by her sister Linda M. Brandt and brother Paul A. Brandt of Hyde Park, MA, son John Bagley of Boston, MA, daughter Stephanie Burrows of Greenland, NH, daughter Christina Burrows of Ladson, SC, son Darren Sealock of Carlsbad, CA, daughter Robyn Sealock and husband Frank Steinman of Greenland, NH, seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and her cat “Scooter”. Barbara is predeceased by her brother Raymond G. Brandt, and her granddaughter, Kristen Burrows. A memorial service will be held in No. Charleston, SC at the Trident Medical Center Chapel on Thursday, September 24, 2015 at 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name with the NSPCA and the Wounded Warriors.
