GASTON - Kathryn Furr Ard - Graveside memorial services for Kathryn Furr Ard, 63, of Gaston, will be private. Ms. Ard passed away May 5, 2015 at her residence. Born in Charlotte, NC, she was a daughter of the late Robert Larry Furr and the late Julia Beatrice Knight Furr. She is survived by her son, Christian William Ard (Donna) of Red Bank; daughter, Jennifer Leigh Wingard of Pine Ridge; grandchildren, Lauren and Hunter Ard, Daniel and Brittany Wingard; seven brothers and sisters, and a large and loving extended family. In addition to her parents, Kathy was predeceased by a brother.
