January 18th, 1937 - November 10th, 2016
Lexington-David Franklin Rymer, 79, of Lexington, passed away Thursday, November 10, 2016. He was born in Cleveland, TN to the late George Benjamin Rymer and Stella Mullinax Rymer. He was a paratrooper during the Korean War and loved to fish and hunt. He was fun-loving, joyous man and had a smile for everyone. He took great joy in spending time with his family and friends. He had friends and family in Lexington, SC, Charlotte, NC and Knoxville, TN who loved him dearly as he loved them. He is survived by sons; Joseph Rymer (Sara), Jim Rose (Missy), Sam Rose (Michelle) and Gary Rose; daughter, Judy Wiles (David); brothers, Daniel Rymer and Douglas Rymer and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Lena Jo Payne Rymer; son Michael David Rymer; brother Donald Rymer and sister Judith Rymer. Services will be held at Woodridge Memorial Park Gazebo, 138 Corley Mill Road, Lexington, SC, 29072, Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 10:00 AM. The family will greet friends immediately prior to the service.
