Dora Harrison, 75, of Panama City Beach, Florida passed away February 13, 2018 in Panama City Beach, Florida. She was born in Raleigh, North Carolina on March 17, 1942 to Earnest Lee and Daisy Bell (Atkinson) Harris. Dora is survived by one son William "Bill" Preston Harrison the IV (June) of Debary, Florida. She is also survived by one daughter Angela (Doug) Schaefer of Panama City Beach, Florida; one brother Robert (Virginia) Harris of Seabring, Florida; one sister in law Lois Harris Parish of Daytona, Florida; 4 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and 4 nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband William Preston Harrison III; and one brother Dr. Earnest L. Harris. Dora's last job was as a Risk Manager at Florida Hospital where she was a very hard and dedicated worker. However, in her free time she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a very selfless person and loved her family dearly. A graveside service for Dora will be held on Saturday February 24th at 1 p.m. at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Woodridge Funeral Home and Memorial Park is in charge of arrangements.
