Johnny M. Dawkins

Johnny M. Dawkins, went peacefully to be with the Lord on May 22. The son of the late Arthur J.Dawkins, Jr. and the late Ruby Mae Dawkins. He was pre-deceased by his daughter, Alicia D. Price. He was a graduate of IRMO High. He was on avid fisherman on Lake Murray and in his active years he was a little league football and baseball coach. Also, one of his passions , was to be a scout leader with his church and loved helping and feeding the sweet missionaries. Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Teresa Petersen Dawkins, son Johnny Dawkins, Jr, daughter Crystal D.Hoffman (Lane), sisters, Deborah Dawkins, and Jacqueline D. Garrett and the loves of his life, his grandchildren, Austin Freeman, Wesley Price, Abbigail & Sophie Hoffman, Alexis & Emma Dawkins. A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 2:00 PM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Lexington, SC. Family will greet friends prior to the service from 1:00-2:00 PM.
