Lonnie Max Cole

Graveside service for Lonnie Max Cole, 92, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 6, 2012, in Woodridge Memorial Park. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, at Westside Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 2 until 3 p.m. following the service at the church. Woodridge Funeral Home is assisting the family. Mr. Cole passed away Monday, October 1, 2012. Born in Townville, SC, he was a son of the late Lonnie F. Cole and Lessie Galloway Cole. Surviving is his loving wife of 24 years, Jeanette Cole of Hilton, SC; daughters, Brenda Cooper (Bruce) of Lexington, Debbie Cole Head (Fred) of Trophy Club, TX, and Cheryl Ayer (David) of Hilton, SC; son, Mike Steele (Jeanean) of Pelion, SC; brother, Jim L. Cole (Brenda) of Laurens, SC; grandchildren, Heather Rogers, Adam Cooper, Katie Head, Rachel Goetz, Robbie Burgess, Kim Burgess, Bobby, Jonathan and Ronald Steele; also four great grandchildren. Mr. Cole was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Christine Jackson and Margaret Madden and a brother, Forest D. Cole.
