Jonathan Wade Hogue
February 17th, 1976 - December 5th, 2023
Jonathan Wade Hogue, 47, entered his eternal home on Tuesday, December 5, 2023. He was born February 17, 1976 in Houston, Texas to Daniel Hogue and the late Carolyn Sue Ryan. Jon graduated from Ella T. Grasso Southeastern Technical High School, where he studied and received a certificate in the Culinary Arts. Though Jon did not choose culinary arts as his career, he loved to cook and show off his skills in the kitchen. He worked at Westinghouse Electric Company for 23 years and was a member of their Fire Brigade. Jon was an avid sports fan and supported several teams including the Tennessee Titans, the Houston Astros, and the Houston Rockets. He loved to take trips to Tennessee to see the Titans and enjoy the beautiful mountains. He will be missed by all who knew him. Jon is survived by his father, Daniel Hogue of Texas ; wife, Jennifer Hart of Lexington; son, Tyler Hart of Oregon; daughters, Jessica Hart and Alanah MaKenzy Hogue, both of Lexington; granddaughter, Peyton Jackson of Lexington; nieces, Natalie Houck and Cheyenne Houck, both of Virginia; and a host of family and friends. Jon was preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn Sue Ryan; and his sister, Kimberly Sue Houck. A memorial service for Jonathan will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2023 from 3:00-4:00 pm at Woodridge Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 138 Corley Mill Road, Lexington, South Carolina 29072. The family will be receiving visitors at Woodridge between the hours of 2:00-3:00 pm.
