William Darren Kidd

William "Darren" Kidd was born to Connie and Bill Kidd on September 15, 1964, where it was clear he was destined for greatness. Charismatic and driven, Darren would grow up to run a highly successful plastic manufacturing company with his best friend, Kevin Layne. He would then meet, fall in love with, and marry a beautiful woman named Cindi. Darren and Cindi would have six children -- three biologically and three adopted. From coaching baseball to attending dance recitals, sitting through school performances and helping with science fair projects (where he would, of course, do most of the work), Darren's love would know no bounds. Darren was diagnosed with a Glioblastoma Multiforme, a rare brain tumor, at the young age of 51. Darren, of course, stepped up to the plate, unwilling to settle for the fate he'd been given, and fought up until his final hours. He passed away peacefully in his sleep, Sunday, July 23rd, 2017. Darren is survived by his wife, Cindi, five children, Whitney, Corey, Kim, DJ, and Rosey, along with relatives across the nation, and friends who would consider him family. The children and wife of Darren would simply like to say "Thank you" to Darren. Thank you for teaching them how to love unconditionally and how to stick together when things get tough. For showing them that pride doesn't stem from money, but from the heart and that quitting is never an option, but fighting harder is. Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 26, 2017, 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Ponderosa Valley Funeral Services.
