Eric Fox Trevino
November 2nd, 1989 - December 22nd, 2016
Eric Fox Trevino was born on November 2, 1989 to Daniel and Karen (Bartlett) Trevino in Denver, CO. Eric passed away unexpectedly on December 22. 2016. He was 27 years old. Eric was a blessing and a gift to his family. He joined big brother Josh and was quickly followed by Audrey, Andrew and Brandon. The five siblings were as close as can be. He moved to Greeley as a baby and resided there the rest of his life. Eric attended school at Meeker Elementary before being homeschooled starting in the fourth grade. This was done in part because Eric was so intelligent, and school held no challenge for him. He taught himself to read at the age of three, and his IQ was off the charts. Eric went back to public school to attend Greeley Central High School, graduating in 2008. Eric also attended Aims Community College and the University of Northern Colorado. His passion was cooking, and he worked at many different restaurants in Greeley. He also took great pride in his family's two ventures, The Trevino Law Firm, where he occasionally clerked for his father, and Trevino's Bulldogs, where he doted on the puppies. His other interests included music, and he started a music promotion business, Garden City Productions with one of his best friends, Patrick Lacy. He loved attending concerts and promoting them. He organized several charity events to benefit others in the community. Eric was a loving son and brother and a faithful friend. He was generous and compassionate to others he met, even if it was for the first time. He always had a heart for the downtrodden. His family was of the utmost importance to him and he was fiercely loyal to them. Eric was big hearted and enjoyed life to the fullest. He was witty and downright hilarious. Everyone felt his larger than life presence, and he will be deeply missed. Eric is survived by his parents, Danny and Karen; his brothers Joshua and wife Andrea, Andrew and wife Daniella, and Brandon; his sister Audrey; his grandmothers, Florence Trevino, Lois Fox Bartlett and Lorraine Bartlett; his nephew Benjamin, and niece Mae, all of Greeley; numerous aunts and uncles; and seventeen cousins who were like siblings to him. He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Ruben Trevino, Sr. and Loren Bartlett; his uncles Sal Trevino and Kent Bartlett; and his best childhood friend, Chris Lopez. A celebration of Eric's life will be held at 10 am on Friday, December 30th at Zoe's Cafe, located at 715 10th Street in Greeley. Service Information
