John Stephen Hunt

John Stephen Hunt, General Manager of the Chick-Fil-A in Parker Loving Husband of 22 years to Robin. Proud Father of Aaron and Ellie Hunt. John Stephen Hunt of Parker, Colorado died on July 10, 2016. Stephen was climbing Crestone Needle in the Sangre de Cristo mountain range of the Rocky Mountains when he fell to his death. Services for Stephen will be held on Sunday, July 17, at 3 pm at Parker Evangelical Presbyterian Church. A private burial service for family only will be held on Monday, July 18, 2016. He was born on November 3, 1960 in Pusan, South Korea to John Kilburn Hunt and Eleanor Inez Simpson who were missionaries there. He graduated from Covenant College in Chattanooga, TN in 1982. He married Robin Lyn Rackley on November 27, 1993 in Littleton, CO. Stephen was employed at Chick-fil-A in Parker as General Manager. He had committed his life to God as a child. He lived his life as being seen by God and serving Him was his priority in life. Stephen was an avid hiker and he had climbed all 54 of Colorado’s 14ers, many of them multiple times. He was working on climbing the 13er bicentennial peaks. He had organized several hiking excursions. Biking was another activity he enjoyed. Stephen is survived by his wife, Robin; son, Aaron (18) and daughter, Ellie (15) of Parker; his parents of Atlanta, GA; sister, Collyn (Don) Gomez and children, Morgan, Abby and Matthew of Atlanta, GA.
