Brian, 58, and Jacquie, 56, Lehner, both of Parker, were the victims of an impaired driver while on their afternoon motorcycle ride on Saturday, February 27th, 2016. Both perished in the head-on crash. Brian Doyle Lehner was born in Columbus, Montana, December 31, 1957 to Louis and Donna (Sharp) Lehner. Brian attended school in Absarokee, Montana, Elementary through High School graduating in 1976. He then graduated from Wyoming Highway Patrol Academy in Gernsey, Wyoming. He served many years as a Highway Patrolman in Wyoming and enjoyed it so very much. Brian attended Eastern Montana College in Billings, Montana, then he attended Metro State University in Denver, graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation Management. Jacquie Boettcher Lehner was born July 7, 1959 in Great Falls, Montana to Jack and Mary (Osterman) Boettcher where she grew up and attended schools. Jacquie was the oldest of 6 children. She graduated from GFHS and Eastern Montana College with a Degree in Education. Brian married Jacquie Boettcher on July 19, 1980. After living in Billings, Kemmerer and Thermopolis, Wyoming they settled in Parker. Brian worked for Thomas Bailey and traveled much of the world while in his employment. Brian and Jacquie were active in their community, Brian serving as Scout Master for many years as well as both Brian and Jacquie were members of the Douglas County HOG motorcycle club. Their passion was riding and being parents. They are survived by their sons Mark (Kristin) Lehner and grandson Konrad of Springdale, Arkansas, Christopher Lehner and Jake Lehner both of Parker. Brian is also survived by his Brothers, Scott, wife, Sheila (Absarokee, Montana) their children, Stefanie Lehner (Delta Junction, Alaska) and Neil Lehner, wife, Sarah, and their children, Ellie and Charlee (Fairbanks, Alaska) and Brian’s sister, Michele Lehner Stone and husband Dennis (Edgar, Montana) and his Mother, Donna Adams (Absarokee, Montana). Brian will be remembered by many loving Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends through out the USA. Brian was preceded in death by his Father, Louis Lehner. Jacquie is also survived by her family, Jack and Mary Boettcher, Vicki Goodwin, Marti Hunt of Great Falls, Montana, Rod Boettcher of Salt Lake City, Utah, Jill Boettcher of East Helena, Montana, and numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, and Nephews. She was preceded in death by Randy, Greg and Matthew Boettcher, and Todd Hunt. A Funeral Mass for both will be held at Ave Maria Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. on Friday March 4th, 2016. A Reception will follow at the Church. A Memorial will be held in Absarokee and Great Falls at a later date. Service Information
