Armando Rodriguez

On Wednesday, June 24, 2020, Armando Rodriguez Jr., devoted father and husband, passed away at the age of 48. Armando was born on July 26, 1971 in Corpus Christi, TX. He graduate from Gregory-Portland High School in 1989, where he participated in debate, and attend the University of Texas at Austin, where he was on the mock trial team. After college, he entered the computer industry, working in technical support and data science. On July 7, 2007, he married Christine Price of Grapevine, TX. They have two children, Gabriel (age 11) and Isaac (age 9). Armando enjoyed hiking and being outdoors. He had a passion for working with children and was an active youth group leader at his church. He was known for his calm demeanor, quick wit and compassionate spirit. Armando was preceded in death by his father Armando Rodriguez of Portland, TX. He is survived by his wife Christine and sons Gabriel & Isaac; his mother Yolanda (Soto) Rodriguez of Beasley, TX; and his siblings - Israel & Sandra Rodriguez of Bishop TX, Levinia Rodriguez of West Palm Beach, FL, David Rodriguez of Corpus Christi, TX, Christina & Andrew Rosebrough of Lake Worth, FL and Josephine & Denis Guzman of Beasley, TX; as well as 10 nieces and nephews and numerous cousins, aunts & uncles. Private services will be held Friday, July 3rd at 11am at St. Matthew's Episcopal Church in Parker, CO. A virtual link will be provided for those not able to attend in person. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the St. Matthew's Episcopal Church Youth Ministry.
