George P. Halbleib Obituary July 29, 1931-Aug. 23, 2022 George Halbleib passed away into the arms of our lord and savior on Aug. 23, 2022, at the age of 91. He was born and raised in Lancaster, PA. where he attended Gettysburg College and was a member of the Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity. He served in the US Navy and Air Force for 21 years where he retired as a Master Sergeant. He met and married the love of his life, Sachiko when he was stationed in Japan. They raised five beautiful children. George was very well known for his love of sports. He refereed Highschool and College football and basketball for 42 years in Santa Clara, California. He loved coaching and watching his Kids, Grandkids, and Great grandkids play sports! He was known for letting the Ref know if they made a good call or not! He always had a big smile for everyone he greeted and made everyone feel very welcome in his home. George is survived by his children; Eileen (Larry deceased) Falcinella Avila Beach, CA. Joe (Lisa) Aurora, CO. Jesse (Shannon) Santa Cruz, CA, Jimmy and Lindy of Aurora, CO. His Grandchildren; Johnny (Sarah), Nicolette, Jordan (Brandi), Braiden, Natalie and Shane. Great Grandchildren; Evelynn and DJ. There will be a Family Only Burial with full military honors provided by the United States Air Force and will be at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
