Mementos

Shirley was born to Harvey and Anita (Thompson) Dow in Seattle, Washington and was later raised in Northern California. She passed peacefully in her sleep 4 days after her 93rd Birthday. Shirley was very active and an independent soul. In her life she raised her 4 children, worked, and retired from the Richmond California School District. She was a dedicated member of the Red Hat Society, enjoyed traveling, teatime with her family in Tillamook, playing cards, and never missed a church bazaar. She will lovingly be remembered by her vivacious smile and contagious laughter. Her home was always open for visitors and she was a wonderful hostess. Shirley is survived by her children David Boettcher, Timothy Boettcher (Tamera), Susan Boettcher, and Son-in-Law, Ron Driskell. As well as her brother Gary Stewart (Linda)and many grandchildren. She is preceded in death by husband Garold Boettcher (aka Jerry), daughter Kathy Driskell, and brother Ron Stewart. Mom, Grandma, Great Grandma, Great-Great Grandma, Aunt, Great Aunt, and friend, we will all miss you deeply.
