Kenneth M. Taylor, III, a landscaper and resident of Colorado Springs, Colorado passed away unexpectedly on November 22, 2023 at the tender age of 33 years old. Kenny was born on June 5, 1990 in Heidelberg, Germany; first born son to Kenneth and Sheila. He moved to the United States, Colorado Springs, Colorado in March of 1994. Kenny was an easy going, laid back young man whose heart was full of love and forgiveness. He had such a kind, calm and loving spirit. His smile was very contagious and he was always smiling, laughing and joking. His love for his family was undeniably deep, strong and loyal. He always felt that he had to be the protector of the family. He also had a lot of love for his cousins, nephews, nieces, aunts and uncles. If you were a friend of Kenny's he loved you as you are, he was never judgmental and even to strangers he was always kind and showed respect. Kenny became a father on August 18, 2018 to a beautiful baby boy, Kristan Amir Phillips. Kenny's face would light up every time he talked of his son and spending time with him. He was proud of Kristan and loved him dearly. Kenny had a love for basketball and music. Music was his temporary escape from the stresses of this world, it was also a way for him to express his feelings and his views of life. In middle and high school he participated in several different sports; wrestling, football, track and basketball. Kenny attended Fountain Fort Carson High School from 2005-2009. He later joined Job Corps from 2014-2015 where he received his certification as a landscaping technician. Preceded in death are grandfather's Eugene Earl and Joseph Ferguson and uncle Malcom Earl. Those left behind to cherish Kenny's memory are son Kirstan Amir Phillips, brothers Kordale A. Taylor, Kristopher J. Robinson, Kwantae L. Stuckey, sisters, Katrina L. Taylor, Kaylah J. Taylor, father, Kenneth Maurice Taylor Jr, mother Sheila Elaine Taylor, grandmothers Vernette Turner, Viola Ferguson, Debra Earl, grandfather Willis Turner and numerous extended family and friends. Funeral services to take place on Friday, December 15, 2023 at 4:00PM at All States Cremation - Cappadonna Chapel 1020 E. Fillmore St. Colorado Springs, Colorado 80907.
