Wayne John English - (WJE) “ WEE-GEE “ Wayne, 79 Years, passed peacefully at home in West Linn, Oregon. He was born on December 16, 1943 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Harry and Violet English. His Mother remarried Charles Kellogg and they had a daughter named Donna who was born in 1951. The family moved to Roseburg, OR when Wayne was 10 and Donna was 2. He spent his school days in Roseburg, and graduated from Roseburg high school in 1960 at the age of 17. He went on to college at the University of Oregon in Eugene, OR. Where he spent 2 years. Wayne met Darlene at Mountain Park in Lake Oswego through an introduction from her daughter. They dated for 7 years and then got married on April 23 1994. They were married in a beautiful historic chapel named Oak’s Pioneer Church on Spokane street, in Portland OR. Wayne was a University of Oregon Ducks football fanatic. When Wayne was getting ready for a Ducks game he would wear his Ducks shirt, his Ducks Jacket and ALWAYS put on his Ducks hat. Win or lose he was Ducks through and through!!! He was an Amazon Super Shopper! Everyday he would be sitting at his computer ordering at least one or two items from Amazon. The minute he received an Amazon gift card, he would immediately race to his computer to spend it! Wayne was really into clothes. He had a full closet of just Jackets. He had one jacket for everyday of the month! He also loved shoes. He had 4 full shelves of only shoes. He had all types of athletic shoes, from name brand sports shoes to running shoes! He had a big collection of watches and would always buy more. He was into cars and motorcycles. Over the years he bought and sold many cars. He loved motorcycles and scooters. He purchased many types, ranging from the smallest to some of the larger ones. He also liked E-bikes and had a few of those too. Most of all he loved his wife. He loved spending and sharing his time with her! He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Violet Kellogg, and his step-father Charles Kellogg. Wayne is survived by his wife Darlene English, West Linn OR. His sister Donna Kellogg, Santa Fe NM. Monica (Dante) delos Reyes, Cameron delos Reyes, Alexa (Lexy) delos Reyes, Gladstone OR. Terry Shultz, Warrenton, OR. Wayne will be laid to rest in Our Lady of the Lake-Sacred Heart Cemetery in Lake Oswego, OR. Arrangements will be made by Crown Memorial, 12995 SW Pacific Hwy.
