Vicki Lynn Jarrett

Vicki Lynn Jarrett passed away unexpectedly, yet peacefully in Denver, Colorado on October 17th, 2019 at the age of 64. Vicki is survived by her father Paul, brother Keith, son Sean, his wife Leslie, and her grandsons Mack and Levi. She was preceded in death by her mother Jackie, brother Steve, and sister Marilyn. Vicki was born on June 15th, 1955 at the Naval Air Station in Corona, California to Paul and Jackie Jarrett and graduated from Westminster High School in Colorado. She began her career as a closer for a real estate firm in Denver, Colorado. Vicki had a son, Sean Jarrett, and raised him along with the help of her parents Paul and Jackie. Vicki and Sean moved to Limon, Colorado, and she worked at the Limon Correctional Facility. She married Jimmie Romo who she met in prison (Both of them worked as correctional officers to clear up any confusion). She worked 20 years for correctional departments before retiring to spend time with her two grandsons as well as volunteering her time to the local church and women’s organizations. Vicki loved to be a prayer warrior on everyone’s behalf. She enjoyed gardening, her two pugs, spoiling her grandsons, and soaking up the sunshine. Vicki was a beautiful woman that loved to help others, ask for the seemingly impossible, and never hesitated to voice her strong will. A memorial is scheduled for 3:00 pm on Thursday, October 24th at Mountain View Fellowship with the address of 1955 Headlight Rd, Strasburg, CO 80136 with a reception and food to follow. Pastor, Donn Headley will officiate the service. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Vicki’s life.
