Clifford Eugene Lalonde

On November 12, 2020 we lost a loving Father. Clifford E. LaLonde was called home to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Clifford was born on May 25, 1934 to Dixie and Francis LaLonde. Clifford passed away at the age of 86. Clifford married the love of his life Joann Duffy on June 5, 1952. Clifford and Joann had four children, Diana, Clifford, Kyle, Jennifer. Clifford and Joann were together for over 50 years. Joann passed away in October of 2009. Clifford missed Joann until the very end. Clifford is survived by nine grandchildren and seventeen great grand children and six great great grand Children. Our Father was a fun loving and caring man, hard working man. He loved his family and friends alike. He lived his life to the fullest in everything he did. He often talked about all of his adventures with Joann In Cancun Mexico in which they enjoyed a timeshare. He was a lifetime member of the Elks Lodge in which his was very proud, for over 48 years. Clifford was an artist in his own write. He was a Florist. He worked at Denver Wholesale Florist for many years when we were children. As we got older Clifford and Joann decided to move to Farmington New Mexico in 1979 in which he bought his own flower shop. We had a lot of fun, laughter, food on our visits to Farmington. We loved his jokes and his breakfasts. He designed a lot of weddings for the family with beautiful flower arrangements. He loved gardening and grew his own tomatoes, jalapenos and onions for his delicious salsa. As a family we would take many trips to Creede Colorado and stay in cabins and fish on the Rio Grande. We have too many memories to list. He will live forever in our hearts. He is already greatly missed.
