Kathryn Marie Rapp Flanagan, 91, of Centennial, Colo., died Sunday, Nov. 12, at her home. Kay was born Dec. 24, 1925, in Hurdsfield, N.D., daughter of Edward and Hubertien Rapp. She was a retired registered nurse. Her husband, Dr. Brian P. Flanagan, who died in 1988, was a retired Air Force physician and professor of dermatology at the University of Rochester. She is survived by four daughters, Dr. Kathryn Flanagan, of Aurora; Heather (Marty) Alexander, of Beaumont, Alberta, Canada; Colleen Naqica, of Centennial; and Patricia (Thomas) Cummings, of Simsbury, Conn.; three sons, Michael, of Virginia Beach, Va.; Robert, of Houston, Texas; and William (Megumi), of Japan; two brothers, Donald Rapp, of Montrose, Colo.; and Edward Rapp, of Golden Colo.; and two sisters, Hubertien Scott, of Tuscaloosa, Ala., and Marjorie, of Hotchkiss, Colo.; 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Kay was a former resident of Rochester, N.Y., and had been an active member of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish and Church of the Transfiguration.
