Deloris Colleen Velarde
December 29th, 1938 - February 21st, 2016
Deloris Colleen Velarde, 77, of Evans, CO passed away February 21, 2016 at NCMC in Greeley. She was born December 29, 1938 in Loveland, CO to Henry August and Fern Ellen (Ryan) Lukas. She managed a restaurant and convenience store before retiring. Deloris was a member of Summitview Community Church in Evans. Survivors include her sons, Mitchell Anthony Velarde and Rodney Patrick Velarde; grandchildren, Brian, Jolene, Garrett, Harrison, Sadie and Colton Velarde; one great-granddaughter, Vivienne Velarde as well as her brother, Phil Lukas. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Tom and Shirley; and her daughter, Debbie Diehl. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 27 at the Adamson Chapel with a reception to follow in the Adamson Reception Center. Memorial gifts may be made to "Brian Velarde” in care of Adamson Funeral & Cremation Services, 2000 47th Ave., Greeley, CO 80634. Friends may leave condolences at adamsonchapels.com.
